Thank You to Volunteers and Helpers

Friday, 24 April 2015

It has been a horrible week with the Sydney wild cyclonic weather. I hope you and all members of your family are safe and well and that your property has not suffered any significant damage.
The authorities such as the SES, police, fire and so many others have come together to protect lives and safety. We should not forget that many are volunteers, especially those in the SES! ACCA would like to say a big thank you to all members of the authorities and the SES for their efforts in ensuring the safety of the public.

ACCA also has a dedicated and invaluable team of volunteers and helpers that comprise of people who generously give up their time to help ACCA in one way or another.  Many work quietly behind the scenes and out of the limelight.  These quiet achievers, including key members within the Cantonese groups (City, Northern and Western), quietly go about organising and managing the activities for our elderly members and the community week after week. All of these people must not be forgotten. Without the volunteers and helpers, ACCA could not have progressed as far nor achieve some of its objectives.

We will be holding the 2015 ACCA Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday 13 May 2015 to formally thank our volunteers. We hope all the volunteers of ACCA can join us to celebrate their achievements over the past year.

THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS and HELPERS, you are our unsung heroes of ACCA, we appreciate and are proud of you to have become involved in one of Australia’s great community organisations!
