On behalf of the Board, staff and members of the Australian Chinese Community Association (ACCA), we would like to convey our deepest condolence to the family of the late Curtis Cheng who was shot and passed away on 2 October 2015.

The tragic loss of another innocent life is yet another sad reminder that life can sometimes be so fragile when people go about their daily lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the late Curtis Cheng.

During this period of grieving, we ask the Australian community in Sydney and across Australia to stay strong, to not be intimidated and work together to eradicate all forms of extremism for a better and safer Australia.
