ACCA's first beading craft class was successfully opened

ACCA's first beading craft class was successfully opened in the new Southern Center on 22nd August 2016. Some 20 enthusiastic participants were attracted to register for and take part in the class.

The beading craft originated from the beading art which was popular in the years when Guangxu reigned during in Qing Dynasty. After the beading art were innovated and improved, people nowadays can use various imitation crystal beads to make assorted beadworks with different patterns. Through the bead craft learning and after mastering the skills, participants can creatively make colorful and beautiful beadworks. This will both enrich their cultural life and improve the inheritance of the Chinese culture. 

ACCA’s president Ms. Shirley Chan also came all the way to the center to attend the new class opening ceremony and together with the participants, experienced the fun of beading on that day.
