2014 Chinese New Year Celebration Luncheon Wednesday, 12 February 2014 2014 Chinese New Year Celebration Luncheon ACCA Elderly Services and Home Care Packages Services jointly held a Chinese New Year Luncheon in celebration of the Lunar Year of the Horse. The luncheon was held at Parramatta Leagues Club and was attended by more than three hundred ACCA services clients, carers, volunteers and staff.

The luncheon began with traditional lion dance. The President of ACCA, Mr. Allen Lee welcomed everyone in his speech and wished all a wonderful and healthy new year ahead. Dr Geoff Lee MP Member for Parramatta and Parramatta Councillor John Hugh also delivered speeches. Fantastic singing and dancing performance from ACCA dancing group followed. There were cheers and applause aplenty throughout the event as everyone was delighted with the banquet, the entertainments, and the lucky draws prizes. The “God of Fortune” came and wished everyone a blessed and wealthy Year of the Horse.

ACCA would like to extend its gratitude to all volunteers and staff who have worked hard to ensure the luncheon was a success; and a big thanks to the Parramatta Leagues Club kindly provided the venue and the support from the Tingha Palace.
