2013 Chinese New Year Celebration Luncheon

ACCA Elderly Services, CACP Services and Dementia Services jointly held a Chinese New Year Luncheon in celebration of the Lunar Year of the Snake on 20 February 2013. The luncheon was held at Marigold Restaurant and was attended by more than three hundred ACCA services clients, carers, volunteers and staff.

The luncheon began with traditional lion dance. The President of ACCA, Mr Allen Lee welcomed everyone in his speech and wished all our clients a wonderful and healthy new year ahead. Fantastic singing performance from members of City Seniors Group and dance performance from the Sydney Chinese Dance & Song Inc followed. There were cheers and applause aplenty throughout the event as everyone was delighted with the banquet, the entertainments, and the lucky draws prizes. The “God of Fortune” came and wished everyone a blessed and wealthy Year of the Snake.

ACCA would like to extend its gratitude to all volunteers and staff who have worked hard to ensure the luncheon was a success; and to the Barros Laboratories, Old Town, Heng Fai Trading Co, eCosway Ashfield and Western Sydney Medicare Local for their support of the event.
