Annual General Meeting
ACCA held its 47th Annual General
Meeting (AGM) on Sunday 1st May 2022 at
Club Parramatta, Parramatta, NSW.
The AGM was
declared opened by President Tim Feng at 12.15pm - a quorum of 101 (voting members
plus proxies) was registered at the time. We were delighted to see so many
members attending the AGM despite the on-going Covid-19 transmission in the
community. We took precautionary measures with all attendees wearing face masks
and ensuring adequate social distancing.
The Returning
Officer announced the results of the election of Directors and Councillors. The
following persons were elected/re-elected as Directors - Helena Sai Wai Chai,
Shirley Chan, Tim Feng, Erica Hendrawan, John Hugh,
Derek Li, Theresa Liang and Christine Mok.
For the
positions of Councillors, the following were elected/re-elected - Stephanie
Chen, Benjamin Chow, Sugandhi Hendrawan,
Adrian Wong and Elaine Zheng-Chen.
Thereafter, Mr
Feng presented the President’s Report for the year 2020-21. He highlighted that
revenue for NDIS increased by 62% and for Home Care Packages increased by 29%
compared to the previous year. He further advised that ACCA is well placed for
further growth of its aged and disability care services due to its unique
positioning as a highly regarded service provider for the culturally and
linguistically diverse communities (CALD).
Ms Christine
Mok presented the Treasurer’s Report for the financial year ended 30 June 2021.
She reported that ACCA is in a healthy financial position.
The final
quorum at the AGM was 104 (voting members and proxies). The meeting was
declared closed at 1.15pm.
Thereafter, the
members adjourned to ACCA’s Parramatta office for lunch to celebrate another excellent
year.
