The President and directors of ACCA were delighted to learn that its application for funding for the NSW government’s 2016/17 Community Building Partnership Program for its Surry Hills head office was successful.

This is the first time that ACCA was granted funding within the electorate of Sydney, whose Member of Parliament is Alex Greenwich. The total amount of funding was over $30,000 for upgrading the building’s infrastructure.

The certificate presentation ceremony was held on 14 December 2016 at the electorate office of Alex Greenwich MP. ACCA was represented by President Shirley Chan, Secretary John Hugh and director Christine Mok.

Alex Greenwich acknowledged ACCA’s long term commitment in providing quality aged and community care services to members of the Chinese community in Sydney. He hopes that this funding will assist ACCA to maintain and expand its services.

The President and directors of ACCA sincerely thank Alex Greenwich for his assistance with this successful grant application.
