ACCA Participates in 2014 Korean Day Festival

Saturday, 4 October 2014

"On 4 October, 2014  ACCA participated in the Korean Day Festival at Bressington Park, Homebush.

The day started off with the flag raising ceremony at the Korean Garden site. A spectacular show indeed - horse riders in traditional Korean costumes and traditional dancing performance by the Korean dancers to mark the occassion,

The event was well promoted and attended by VIPs, guests and people and all walks of life.

The program also included performances by different ethnic groups. This certainly reflects the thinking, diversity and openess of the Korean Society.

ACCA's dancers, under the leadership of Ms Maggie Wu,  performed in the afternoon to the applause of many of the spectators. I am certainly proud to say that ACCA dancers have made a mark and a name for themselves with the ever increasing request for ACCA dancers to perform in special events.

A fun day for all indeed. The raffle prizes were simply awesome.

Congratulations to Mr Luke Song, President of The Korean Society of Sydney,  and his committee members for having organised such a successful and eye opener event."
