ACCA condemns homophobic remarks

The Australian Chinese Community Association of NSW (ACCA) would like to congratulate Alex Greenwich MP, on his re-election as the Member for Sydney. ACCA is grateful to Mr Greenwich for the assistance and representation given to ACCA in the past ten years.

ACCA is a non-political, non-religious, and a not-for-profit organisation that promotes diversity and inclusiveness in its workforce and regards any form of discrimination towards the LGBTIQA+ community unacceptable. ACCA acknowledges robust debates in the context of an election however, it believes that civility and respect should be maintained at all times. ACCA unequivocally condemns the recent homophobic slur towards Mr Greenwich.

ACCA will continue to support Mr Greenwich in his work to promote diversity and inclusiveness in our community.
