AACS volunteer project for the Organ and Tissue Authority

Monday, 20 April 2015

Are you interested in volunteering to help raise awareness of organ and tissue donation and encourage more people to have the chat that saves lives?

Register you interest to join the Asian Australian Community Service Inc (AACS) “Let’s Talk” volunteer team today.

We will train you to speak with people about organ and tissue donation so that you can assist at information sessions and special events like the “Let’s Talk” community fair during DonateLife Week 2015. Join us to discover the facts and find out why every family needs to discuss and know each other’s wishes.

Around 1,600 people are on waiting lists for organ transplants at any one time. Increasing community awareness of this important topic is essential so that more people can receive the life-transforming gift of a transplant.
